I worked as India Usability Lead & UI Designer at UGS (formally an EDS company), Pune

From 2001 to 2003 I was working from Geometric Software Solutions, Pune for UGS. Geometric Software is UGS offshore development center.

I was working for Web interface Design & Rich Java Interface design.
Some of the products that I am associated are
” Teamcenter Engineering (IMAN) – Rich Java client
” Teamcenter Enterprise – Web client.
Teamcenter products are Enterprise Product Data Management Systems.

Work involved -

• User and Task analysis from Market requirement Document(MRD), Software Requirement specification(SRS), Surveys.
• Conceptual Design and Detail design using Visio, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, power point.
• Conducting contextual inquiry and user interviews at customer sites.
• Conduction formal Usability Testing using Usability Lab equipments – Video Camera.
• Reviewing documents published by Testing and Development groups.
• Conducting trainings and workshops to create awareness of Usability Principles & UI design.
• Develop UI Guidelines, Patterns and standards.
• Coordinate with Development teams in US, UK, Iserial.
