Usability
observation & suggestions :
1. Email Reminders are not sent when a bug
is closed.
2. Status field remains blank if no "Type"
is selected. The dependency is not understood
by user. They should be grouped and hierarchy
of selection visible.
3. The concept of Keywords are not understood.
How does they get populated.
4. Users are using "Description"
to create a thread. They are not using "Discussion
Thread".
5. Different users can file their comments
in different tabs as suggested above.
6. Discussion thread can be used to just view
who had reported, when reported, then who
worked, when, .the pass on thread. Current
discussion thread does not show who has initiated
the issue
Usability
observation & suggestions :
1. The last column is important from a
project manager's point of view. But its
at the end and he needs to scroll. Again
the context is lost which check box
is for what heading.
2. This column should appear on left-first
side.
3. There can be option to hide or unhide
these columns provide a check box on
top as shown to decide which columns user
should want to view.
4. System should remember which columns
user has check, the next time he logs in.
5. In this way horizontal scrolling can
be avoided. "Progressive disclosure
